It Pays to Live Healthy (The Real Cost of the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living)

So, I’ve been doing the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living program. I love it so much! And I’m not just saying that. It has legitimately changed my life. So much so that I became a consultant so I can help others take their first steps on their healthy living journey. I’m all about being transparent, so I wanted to make sure I told you that straight away.

Arbonne’s products are certified Gluten-free (<– read about my personal story here!) Vegan, Cruelty-free and Non-GMO verified. They are also Halal and Kosher certified as well as soy-free and certified by the Banned Substances Control Group as drug-free. I mean, you’re talking premium ingredients here. You can click here to read this all for yourself.

So here’s the thing. Ever since I had my son… which will be almost 15 years ago in just a mere 8 days from the time of this post – I can’t even believe it! – I have tried SO many things to keep myself healthy and my weight on track. No fancy program has ever been right for me. I have a terrible sweet tooth. Like I could play the role of the Cookie Monster very well. I LOVE cheese. Confession: I may or may not have referred to it as it’s own food group a few… thousand… times. I always try to eat well, but there are just some things I LOVE. Again, Macaroni and Cheese, anyone?

But that’s what I love about the Arbonne program! It’s not a lose weight quick solution. It’s not even about losing weight, it’s about gaining health! Losing weight is just an awesome bonus. And, even more importantly, Arbonne makes it incredibly easy for you to do the program. It may seem like you’re “cutting out” a lot… and you are… but you do not feel like it. And you’re body receives ten-fold what it loses in health and energy benefits. Amazingly, I have ZERO cravings for junk anymore. Zero.

As I’ve started to talk with more and more people, I’ve noticed there is one MAJOR common question everyone has… How much is the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living? And I get. It’s a valid question. Especially now, (I’m writing this during the COVID-19 outbreak) when people are feeling so uncertain about everything! So let’s take a look at what the cost really is.

In the spirit of transparency, I thought I’d put the cost right out there for you and break it all down so you can easily see what you are really getting for your hard earned money! Just a side note: This post is not meant to “convince” anyone, just want to help those already interested in taking the leap to make an educated decision.

Ok. So, here it goes. If you sign up as a preferred client – which is honestly the best way to go, unless you’re like me and fall in love to the point where you want to help others! (more on that later) – the complete kit costs ONLY $266.40. <– We’re gonna get real specific here.

I know… some of you might be thinking ONLY $266.40? And my answer is yes… ONLY $266.40. Here’s why.

First of all, maybe a cliche question, but can you put a price tag on your health? If you are looking to invest in healthier eating, this is the BEST and easiest way by far to take that first step. A good friend of mine, Jillian Hardwick, owner of HB Pilates & Fitness once said, “People complain that avocados are 2 for $5, but won’t hesitate to spend $200 on a bar tab.” And that is SO true! One night of fun could be an entire month of good health.

Now to get into the math of it all. Don’t worry, I’m not here to make you do the math problems on your own, I’m here to help you look at all of this more easily, so I’ve already done that for you. I’m like that new Honey… finding you all the savings without having to do any of the work.

Here is what you get in the complete kit:

  1. Two large bags of protein. You can choose from Chocolate or Vanilla or even get two of the same if you fancy! Makes 60 meals.
  2. Two boxes of Detox Tea (40 bags total). A mild, caffeine-free herbal tea with 9 botanicals that support the liver and kidneys.
  3. One box of Digestion Plus. A gentle formula of ginger, chamomile, prebiotics, 3 billion CFU of probiotics, and enzymes to help support optimal digestive function.
  4. One box of the Essentials Body Cleanse, which you only use during week 3. A lemon-ginger flavored formula that’s gentle enough for daily use. Aloe soothes the gastrointestinal tract, ginger supports the healthy digestion, and choline supports liver function.
  5. One container of either the Greens Balance, a blend of 30+ whole fruit and vegetable powders — delivering antioxidants, phytonutrients and the fiber you need to have a more balanced, healthier diet or the Fiber Boost, a flavorless, soluble fiber with 12 grams of fiber, nearly half the daily requirement, derived from grains, fruit and vegetables that can be added to all foods and beverages, including Chocolate or Vanilla Protein Shakes.
  6. And my personal favorite, two boxes of fizz sticks! (60 sticks total) An amazing replacement to your caffeine habit (and trust me if anyone thought it’d be hard to kick coffee it was me… I lived on coffee. You would have thought I was hooked up to an IV, but these made it so easy!) These contain antioxidants and a botanical blend of green tea, guarana and ginseng, combined with B vitamins and chromium, to help boost energy, enhance cognitive performance, help promote endurance, enhance motor performance, and help reduce fatigue. These are legit. And you can choose from Citrus, Pomegranate or Strawberry.

All of this sold separately is about $400, so you already save a HUGE chunk of change getting the kit. Here’s a brief video if you want to know more about each one of the products.

Let’s start with the protein.

First, this protein is outstanding. It’s not grainy or gross. It doesn’t taste like chalk. It’s just the best. The protein can account for up to two meals a day. If you just divided the amount of the kit by 60 meals, you’d be paying $4.44 to cover two meals a day. And as you can see above, you’re getting much more than that! Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t know of any place where I can get a quick, healthy meal for only $2.22.

We’re going to do some math later on to look at this from a different perspective, so let’s use $5.00 as a marker for an inexpensive meal. That’s fair, right? Or you could get another protein like the one here, which is not as nutritionally sound (or gluten free) for $189.98 for 60 servings. It’s also worth noting that most vegan proteins are not complete if they aren’t made with soy and most people don’t love the taste of the average vegan protein powder.

Either way, cost per day without Arbonne is either $6.33 with protein or at least $10 a day without.

Ok. Next we have the Detox Tea. There are 40 bags total, which means you have more than you need for the month. And since tea is one of those coffee like substances, even though this one doesn’t have caffeine, let’s combine it with those awesome fizz sticks (60 total) to take a look at an energy comparison. Between the two, you have 100 options for tea and energy. If you were to go to Starbucks 100 times and buy one of the least expensive items on the menu, a tall iced coffee with no extra flavoring at $2.25 a pop, you’d spend a cool $225 for coffee alone (100 servings). Cost per day without Arbonne: $2.25

For a Vegan, Gluten-free, Cruelty-free and Non-GMO probiotic like this one, you’d have to spend $49.95 for a 120 capsule, 30 day supply. Not only do you have to take 4 capsules a day, but it doesn’t meet all of the criteria Arbonne’s Digestion Plus does in one easy dose. Cost per day without Arbonne: $1.67

To replace the Body Cleanse, you’d need to purchase L-Glutamine like this for another $34.99. Plus, you’d need to figure out how and when to use it whereas the Body Cleanse is for very specific use during week 3. Cost per day without Arbonne: $1.17

Fiber Boost could be replaced with a Vegan, Gluten-free, Cruelty-free and Non-GMO formula like this for $25.89 and you could exchange the Greens Balance for another greens product for $39.95 with only 25 fruits and veggies compared to Arbonne’s superior and well-rounded 30+ greens, yellows, reds, and blues. Cost per day without Arbonne: Greens = $1.33 or Fiber = $0.86

Ok, peeps. Now that we’ve broken it down step by step, let’s rebuild it so we can see it from a more holistic point of view.

With the Arbonne Kit, you can begin your journey to healthy living for a totally doable total price of only $266.40.

Total price per day: $8.88

Without the Arbonne Kit (total price): $492.39 (on the high end) or $382.37 (on low end)

Total price per day: $16.41 (high end) almost two times the amount! or $12.75 (low end)

That’s a minimum total savings of $115.97! But, wait…

Friends, can you even believe that’s not where the savings end? Let’s talk about that grocery bill!

The average grocery bill per person in the US, according to the department of Agriculture, is somewhere between $165 and $345 a month. So, if we take an average of that, it leaves us at about $255 per person per month – which, let’s be honest, we know is not the case in California or any major city for that matter. But anyway, let’s use $255. For a family of 3, that would leave you with a monthly bill of $765 plus whatever you spend on take out.

You guys, in the last almost three weeks… are you ready for this? I have ONLY spent $364 on groceries and that’s inclusive of the Takis and Doritos for the guys. If I keep that up, I will have only spent $485.33 on groceries for the month! My family has eaten every meal I’ve made and loved it. We’re all eating way healthier and we haven’t had take out once. That’s a HUGE financial savings and tremendous health benefits for us.

I hope this helps take some of the mystery out of the Arbonne pricing and shows you that it can be easy and financially helpful to live healthier and eat better! I really just want to shout this from the rooftops because to me, healthy living is the only living now and I’m so glad I took the plunge with Arbonne.
